Bus Fare Now 7.5 pesos

Today we took the bus to Mega, from Mega to Costco, and from Costco via a tunel bus to home. All charged 7.5 peso's
with the added bonus that one of them gave Ed a Student reciept (bonus for the driver).

and it is official that domingo the 2nd the bus fare will return to it´s previous rate

The return on Monday to the old fare is "official" only until a review. If anyone wants to take bets, I think the increase will stay.

In my 6 years of riding buses here, I have never seen a bus driver without enough fifty centavo coins to hand out to his passengers.

I have been waiting for this increase. When I first came to PV, buses were one peso. When they raised it to 6.5, everyone thought that would be enough for many years. It has been many years (except for the last half peso increase).

6.50 to 7.00 7.50 to 8.00

some businesses do that as they also don´t have centavos

also before the 6.50 pesos increase it was five pesos and four pesos before that too
