Well freeeye, thanks for asking....
Surgery can make cancer spread - if the knife nicks a cancer cell and then touches some place else. Prostate surgery also holds a 90% chance of wearing diapers, 50% chance of ED, and a small chance of not being able to control your bowel movements. We know a couple guys who have big problems, one never leaves the house, one has to stop suddenly wherever he has to go #2, and one has an artifical spincter, he has a switch to go #1. He had numerous surgeries. Doctors really don't elaborate on what can happen, how painful surgery and recovery is, ours told us my husband only had weeks to get on the table. Then our HIFU doctor told us he actually had 15 years to get treatment as he had the smallest cancer & prostate cancer is the slowest growing.
It's a special high frequency ultrasound machine.
Utlrasound will not go through hard tissue, cancer tumor is hard tissue, it hits it and cooks it and it is turned into ash, however,
it goes through soft watery tissue without any harm. It can't cook lung cancer because of the air in the lungs, the sound waves get lost in the air, and it has trouble with bones being in the way, so they have to manuever around to not hit a bone....like they explained in the Swiss article. Xray doesn't have the capability to stop, it sees through all tissue and doesn't stop.
I don't know all the technicals, but I am so happy that my husband no longer has cancer and he just walked away from the 2 hour procedure without any troubles. I just wish it was available for all, it would be a better world.

How could they get more inpartial? Cleveland Clinic has no financial motive, they can treat you using any treatment. The Daily Telegraph is just a newspaper doing an interview with doctors, doctors who are surgeons, they make more money with surgery....but they see benefits of HIFU. And The Pine Street Foundation covers all prostate cancer treatments, they just want the truth, it's a charity, a good one. Me thinks it's you who is prejudged.
You can either be right all the time or you can be married.
