Under Bill Clinton (a democrat) the economy was booming. Then along came George H W Bush, and he spent 8 years fucking up the economy. And people expect Obama to fix everything that the republicans fucked up in just 4 years. If we are stupid enought to elect Romney then we get what we deserve. Romney can't keep his foot out of his mouth long enough to make an intelligent statement. He will need a lot of toothpaste to keep the shoepolish off of his teeth.

I feel the same way about Canadians commenting on US politics, if you haven't lived with it 24/7, smelt it, touched it or been fucked by it, you shouldn't be sitting on the outside looking in and debating about it.

I guess the Poles who expressed concern over the extreme right -wing activity in Germany in 1933 were just - what ? - a bunch of whiny meddlers ? When your political system goes to the FAR right and we share 4,000 miles of border, we're fully entitled to express an opinion, in fact, I'm sure most Canadians on here know more about the situation than you do. If you're not personally alarmed about the direction your country is taking, then you're some sort of moron ! - Ron

SKYSCRAPER

BREAKING NEWS:

I hear Obama is going to meet with the Pres. of Iran. This is great with the Jewish fighting for their lives.

I am a democrat, but just don't understand why Obama has accomplished anything worth while other than approving Gay Marriage and abortion. He is an idiot when it comes to business and foreign affairs. And he is stealing from us taxpayers.

Pull for Obama if you want gov't larger and PEOPLE SMALLER.

Should have listened to 60 Minutes today. Things are going for Romney!

THANKS!

Apparently, he does not even listen to them. This from their article this AM on the 60 Minutes "debate" last night:

The White House has said scheduling precluded a meeting between the two leaders, who won't be in New York at the same time. With the final six weeks of a hard-fought election hanging over the U.N. summit, Obama has opted out of face-to-face meetings with any of his counterparts -- not just Netanyahu -- during his compressed U.N. visit.

Come on Ron you've gotta do better than that

The Pole's should have been concerned, the Germans made it clear to Poland they wanted returned to them what they considered their land, West Prussia, Posen and Upper Silesia which were taken away from Germany and given to Poland at the Treaty of Versailles. I wouldn't call it whining, I call it preparing for war. The biggest mistake made after World War I, was nobody listened to France, they knew if Germany's balls "weren't" cut off they would be back with vengeance, everyone else thought embarrass them, take away some of their land and slap there hands would be enough to deter them from starting another war.

So considering your comment regarding 1933 are you now concerned the Americans are making plans to invade Canada?

I surrender, I'm getting smacked up side my head by 2 Ron's now, so I take my comment back, you're all right and I'm wrong, you can debate US politics until the cow's come home.
I didn't really say everything I said. "Yogi Berra"
