I would like to see Justin Prime Minister some day. That being said his big announcement wasn't even carried in Quebec . It was a non event there. Unless the federal NDP screw up royally, his effect and ability to meld the country will be a very slow process. That's a good thing because they would keep the split between those who disagree and us good people.

Au contraire, mon frère. If he rides in on the coattails of his old man I can't see many people in the West voting Lib., especially considering the metric & bilingual abomination he put Canada in.

I don't believe the libs will win the next Federal election but we will be back to a minority government.

Not really, BC has most everything that Alberta has and in theory BC should be as wealthy as Alta but we've suffered many many years of incompetent governments, we've now got a so called fiscally responsible right wing government that wastes more money than the previous left wing bunch. Maybe we should recruit Wall to move to B.C and take over. :D

It is a much easier system.

The biggest trading partner and neighbor of Canada is the USA. Trudeau implements a system that relies on conversion for import & export of products with the USA, 40 years later Canadians still convert. I'm not sure what the total cost to Canadians was at the time  but the USA seems to be doing just fine on the Imperial System. It may be a simpler system but litres or gallons, when you fill up your tank with gas the total amount you pay in the end is the same either way.

I know whats done is done but the change never did make any sense to me

As of 2012 the USA - 77.7% Share of Total Exports & 52.4% Share of Total Imports with Canada

Jealous of Alberta?..HA! if thats the case, why does everyone with any $$$ at all, retire here from Alta AND Sask? I lived in Alta, fine if ya like it so cold u face gets frost bitten in 3 minutes without vaseline on it, where the wind blows snow drifts so hard over the road, you cant see the road.It took me everything i had to get outta that province.wonder how many would choose to live their if it wasnt their financial security? Why, then can we not get any camping spots in our own campgrounds and all the license plates read Alta or Sask? Why are our old folks homes so full of retired sask farmers and alta oilers that BC people cannot get a place? WHY, if its so great wont you guys just please stay in your own province...lol@my rant...
