The good news is that the mayor's secretary, Oscar Perez, has no serious injuries. He had skull and face fractures but the brain and internal organs were not damaged. He has received 2 reconstructive cosmetic surgeries and is doing better and is expected to remain in the hospital for only 2 more weeks.

Apparently the mayor has moved his office back to the old building but it is unclear if any other offices are moving back.

And 200 municipal workers have been laid off (fired) to make room for the new party loyals.
