Donate if you wish, but don't do like some here do and use this as a cause to get more promotion for your business. Good will promotion is getting old. But that's another subject.
I am sorry Rick but I don't think you know Fabiola (the mother) and her family. She teaches zumba classes in the park during high season and her husband works at the airport. He had his salary cut in half and she is not making anything because she is currently not teaching. The last I heard (yesterday), no payments towards there medical expenses had been made. So if the local government says they are going to cover it, we are to believe it?
A few of us are concerned about this lovely family's welfare and are trying to make a difference. And being retired, I am pretty sure I have no business to promote unless you count altruism. Again, if you would like to help in any small way, let me know and I will keep you apprised of developments. My email address is montyjam@gmail.com.
Good on you Juliana! Mary stopped by earlier today and thanked us profusely for a direct contribution we had made to the family on the day of the attack.
Even IF the city does what it says and covers the medical expenses, there will still be huge additional needs due to lost work and traveling expenses back and forth to the hospital and to Guadalajara, etc.
