another casino on the way

on the way out
saw a casino sign under deck12

They are everywhere. All bars have the old-fashioned peso slot machines. Even the tienda next door to us has a peso slot machine. Gambling is as natural as patriotism and religion. Bingo is rampant here. Lottery is major. Raffles are the blood and guts of any charity event here.

It's good to see that someone is providing a safe, comfortable place for people to gamble.

glad to see that something will happen on that corner... the commercial space has been empty for the last 5 years, except for a real estate office trying to sell the attached condos... maybe the activity will help sell some of the condominium units in Deck12, as occupancy is only about 10%..

not sure where people will park since there is limited space in front of the building. maybe they will be able to use the underground garage built for the condo tower.

i imagine that the casino will capture some of the cruise ship travelers. seems like a lot of cruise ship travelers visit Walmart for lack of cheap entertainment in PV. should create competition for the casino in liverpool...
