Personal solutions for and questions about living in Vallarta. Where to find it and how to do it.

I've used Maxxum Export Logistics to move tricky or problematical items (high value boat parts moving under a Temporary Import Permit ) across the border. They clear customs in Tijuana under their supervision and then put goods into the Mexican logistics system via either a reliable trucking company or air freight from the Tijuana airport. If items are covered by a Temporary Import Permit they can handle that too and eliminate duties and IVA fees.

He's not cheap, though. In my case an insurance company was covering costs. The OP better really be attached to that refrigerator.
