I could use a mule coming down in 3-4 weeks.

Personal solutions for and questions about living in Vallarta. Where to find it and how to do it.

Got lots of little thingys, like seafood forks, oyster knives, a new webcam, etc, that need transport from the land of cheap prices and ready availability. Total should be less than about 10lbs and not much space. I will pay for the extra suitcase....

I have been buying things on ebay that are mailed from China. I wonder if this would work to Mexico.
( Sorry. Dumb question)
Julia Child used church keys to open oysters. They might be hard to find these days.

China does not work for here. Amazon does not work for here (without exorbitant charges).

Until the free trade agreement really is implemented for the benefit of Mexico, Mexicans and assorted ner-do-wells who choose to live here, I have to rely on mules.

If everyone accepted that concept of "buy locally" there would be no tourists here in Mexico.

No one would ever go anywhere outside of their own, limited, little world and no one would ever experience anything beyond what they could see, taste or feel within those very limited locales ("locally," of course, being defined to suit local power structures).

Fortunately, most people do not fall for the "buy locally" mantra.
