Tropical Storm

Hi,

We are flying in to PV tomorrow afternoon, just wondering if the tropical storm is going to last that long?

Thanks

So far it's a dud. But you never know. It seems to be getting smaller and falling apart but the weather forecasts still are tropical storm warnings for here.

I should warn you that not many people would bet on my weather forecasting abilities.

I think your arrival is going to be thankfully anti-climactic. First you were worried about swine flu, now it is a hurricane.

You are taking a panga to Yelapa, if I remember right. You might want to check the dock to see if they are loading people from the pier yet. 1 1/2 weeks ago, they were loading them from the beach, and that might be a bit rough. Some people were taking the bus to Boca to catch the panga from there because the boats load from the pier.

Wow I must be really out of it! When did they build a pier in Boca de Tomatlan?

They built the pier in Boca a couple of months ago, Keith. But the supply pangas and water taxis rarely use it. Like the pier that was built near the Lagunita Hotel in Yelapa, the one in Boca is too high and inaccessible at low tide.

So, Robert, are they loading from the dock at Los Muertos?

Not as of yesterday. Don't know about today, but I doubt it.
