I've always found that sex takes my mind off (hell it wipes out) any pain that I have. I would recommend that a young person (as you say you are) should try for about 7 times per day.. Pain will be gone during... And if you're male...you'll sleep Without pain the rest of the day.

PS: don't ask the doctor for the sex.

Here I am pouring out my lack of a reason to seek pain relief and you think it's funny!

For those of us in middle age (35 and over) the good news is that viagra is cheaper than the other "pain" medications, might just keep you "ready" for 48 hours and If you happen to have heart problems it's use will guarantee real and insurance paid medication in coronary intensive care.

Thanks for all the replies! Sorry it took so long to respond back, during one of the last lightning storms our internet got knocked out and it took this long for a rep to finally get out here and repair it. Ive tried accupuncture and I refuse to go back to a chiro, bc last one I went too really screwed me up. Ill check out all the info sent above and if I come in contact with a good doc Ill def let you know. Luckily my doc at the VA back in SF is still helping me until I can find a doc here, so fingers crossed, Ill find one soon enough. Sex is def a good pain reliever and my wife knows it so Im lucky about that too

Yepper! Nothing like having a great wife/lover/partner.... Even better if it's the same person.

173 airborne, you have passed the board sense of humor test. My prognosis is positive.

I second that statement..... humor is the best medicine.

I do hope you are able to find some sort of cure.... many on this board seek their pain relief with alcohol, but the downside is possible liver failure, disagreements with partners who don't share the view, and sore fingers from being stepped on when crawling.
