perhaps, he's referring to pension or, company healthcares.
Flannel pajamas on flannel sheets equates to a texture similar to Velcro.

Any one up for a lime margarita?

Well, the Mexican Supreme Court said that if you get married legally in a state, that marriage will be recognized in all states.

This means that a pension or a company healthcare plan must apply to the spouse and cannot be discriminated against if the marriage is a same-sex marriage.

It is one more small step to equality at least in the eyes of the law, even if people always chose to discriminate it gives a level of peace and security around many things, wills and benefits among them.

Having been with the same person going on 15 years and married 4 of them I can say we are very pleased that Mexico is moving in the same direction as Canada has done. It does make a difference when people start to get married and young people grow up expecting to have choices about marriage, children or not just like hetro people do.

No matter what anyone says that is not gay or lesbian, it makes a huge impact on the community to have basic things like marrigage be legal.

Yes it certainly does. This is a very sensible, fair, and positive step. And it hurts absolutely no one.

For the record, the action did not just happen. It occured in 2010.

That article is very confusing. I had to go back and research it a bit more, and I think I got the facts now.

You are right, Mexico City did legalize gay marriage back in 2010.

The law that was enacted in March in DF stated that gay couples could adopt children. Earlier this month, the Supreme Court said that law was indeed constitutional.

Then after that decision, the court added that all legal marriages are legal in all states. This means that, while gay marriages are not legally performed in most states, the ones that are legal in a state that recognizes them also have to be recognized by the states that do not allow them.

recently in Medicine Hat, Alberta (AKA Redneck, Ab!) we have been in the National news for the following: 1) they have found a nest of more than 100 rats at our dump in "rat free" Alberta. 2) some young people are organizing the first ever Gay Pride Parade and Festival in the city and there seems to be a lot of vocal opposition (the rednecks REALLY showing through on THAT one  ) and 3) they have noted in a recent survey that the population (didn't ask me?!?) doesn't believe Police Officers should have any visible tattoos! :o Is there any wonder we are trying to sell the house and get to PV!?! :D
Everybody thinks that every womens dream is to find the perfect man.....OH PLEASE....every womens dream is....TO EAT WITHOUT GETTING FAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
