Heard a rumor about luggage at the airport

Every question is a good one.

Heard a rumor about luggage at the airport

Postby freeeye » Tue Aug 14, 2012 1:38 pm

Someone on Gary Beck's forum just wrote that they were told by a cop at the airport that they could not take their rolling luggage through the airport doors and that they had to use a porter.

This sounds not real to me.

Anyone have any experience one way or the other lately (within the last couple of weeks)?

I think you'll find that they were trying to take their luggage out the door using the airport luggage cart. This has been in effect shortly after the airport actually started providing the carts.

That is true but this is not what the person said.

I always grab a porter. he leads interference, dog papers get a quick glance, and we don't get hassled. Smooth and worth every peso.

Have not heard anything and we just had friends roll through the airport.

The porters in PV ARE good when you need to get through without any hassle.

Do you still have to push the red/green button if you use the porters?
