How much are you paying for airfare?

Every question is a good one.

I know it doesn't fly that route all the time but I always have been able to book our flights this early before. That's the flights we've flown for the past 4 or 5 years. They're just not available this year...yet. They only have them on Sundays. So far. We'll be there Feb 2-16 this year. And thanks for sharing your prices. I guess I did alright then.

AA just announced some decent fares to Mexico, from most US cities they serve. Good through March 2nd, I believe.

Just booked tickets for our trips from St. Louis to PV and return on US Air in January/February...1 and 1/2 to 3 hour layovers in each direction in Phoenix. My Wife is going for two weeks Saturday to Saturday...$463.67...I'm going for just shy of 4 weeks Saturday to Thursday...$475.47... If I stayed another two days and returned on Saturday the fare would have been $756.47...If you can be flexible, it might mean a lot in price.

It really takes timing and patience to get the good deals...Tuesdays and Thursdays on Frontier tend to run cheaper. I'm waiting for flights 66 and 67.....straight thru, nonstop, from MCI. I talked to Frontier in DV and they will be running those routes this winter, but as Sandy aptly pointed out, they moved it from Sat to Sun for some reason. That is the only direct route from Missouri at this time (with no legs), but just not running until December. :D
If you have the flexibility of last minute booking, sometimes you can get a decent price on those direct flights.

(BTW, Sandy, my price I quoted was for two passengers :D )

Thanks Jack. You just burst my happy balloon, lol. When are you guys going for that price? I'm still keeping an eye out for the 66 & 67 flights so I can reschedule if they show up on Saturdays again.

I set that Bing search and will check it CONSTANTLY to try to snag those.

How can they say my life is not a success? Have I not for more than sixty years got enough to eat and escaped being eaten?

I talked to a customer service rep in Denver, they aren't moving back to Sat, and I think 66 and 67 start up around Dec. 10th as I recall and run til sometime in March. They only post flights so many months ahead on Frontier, so I doubt you can look at March yet. I'll keep you informed, I look all the time for last minute deals, as I have lots of flexibility at work on vacations. I've been known to book 1-2 days out...one year I got back and a $79 RT popped up to try and fill the plane, so I went right back down there a week later. Course, that's about 15-20 years ago and it was worryfreevacations.com, which doesn't exist any more. It was out of STL. We bill be there til Nov. 8th. :D
