Meetup Changing to Thursdays on August 23

We will be having our meetups on Thursdays starting on August 23.

This week's meetup will be at Langostino's on Friday, August 31

Also, we need a place to meet on the Thursdays of September 6 and 13 because Langostino's is closing for a couple of weeks for remodeling.

Any suggestions?

I probably won't go for Cafe Roma or Sea Monkey (for obvious reasons).
But the rest of the options are open.

I always had a blast at Crazy Beaches Cantina, I am pretty sure Karen is open those evenings? Never hurts to ask....

Cathy , I have never been there but had the same idea. As well as the pitt. If the owners of these bars get to know us ,they might enjoy our company and pesos. That might lead to something Rick has always said ,you post specials but do not post on the forum. I would love to meet the owners of new places I have not been to. - Btw I have never tried Alaska diner yet either but plan on it.

Alaska diner is not really a place for the meetups. Too small, but it is certainly worth checking out. Sarah and I go there about a couple of times a month to eat.

The Pitt isn't really set up for meetups. Nice guys but it's kind of dark and out of the way, so to speak, although parking and bus access is pretty easy. Karen's Crazy Beaches might be good. It's big and has good, inexpensive food and drinks. We were also thinking about doing it up at Moro Paraiso. Harder to get to but very nice and we'd have to have the meetup earlier in the day as they close at about 6. Not many of us here at this time of year so Moro might work.

Remember, this is only for a couple of weeks.
