Yes, some of the 10% mas o menos, were in fact self promoting. So what? you had no problem when he was your friend.

And, yes, I did take the time to page through his posts and roughly count his self-promoting posts, to discredit one of your more wild accusations to a former friend. Don't forget, you helped him set up one of the former businesses.

In the first place, I don't believe that Jim went through 861 posts. No offense. He can bluff, but not that well. If his count is off, he simply does not know what self-promotion is and he is much more gullible than I had thought.

All of Bruce's posts are self promotion unless he is attacking someone or expressing his paranoia and then it is not direct promotion, but he still thinks it is because he believes that his thoughts are gold. His late night drunken rants are what I am referring to here. Not that there is anything wrong with late night drunken rants, but he did think of them as promotion. I let Bruce self promote here all he wanted, the same way I let anyone who wasn't a scam artist. All other Vallarta boards have a very low tolerance for Bruce's posts.

I never helped Bruce set up any business. I gave him one idea (and he stole one) but both of those ideas were bad ones (at least for him). And I have stolen ideas from him. He taught me (tho he doesn't know he did) how to make great steaks out of inexpensive cuts of beef... My other stolen lessons from him have been negative ones (as in, how not to do things).

Rick, would you be interested in sharing the steak secret? Does it happen to be the one where you marinate/coat them in salt for an hour or so before you cook them? I just learned that one and it's a keeper!
