Friday, July 13, Meetup at Langostino's

Postby freeeye » Tue Jul 10, 2012 2:25 pm

We'll be heading over to the beach this week to Langostino's for our weekly meetup: Los Muertos Beach at 6 pm this Friday, July 13. Our meetups are now more relaxed and smaller in size because of the disappearance of the snow birds. It's more of an expat gathering now.

There is an extended happy hour from 6 until 8, with beer 20 pesos and house cocktails 2 for 1 (45 pesos), including the margaritas. Good, strong drinks by master bartenders. This bar is right on the beach and there is plenty of activity. Lots of people in town right now with the tourist season starting. The sunsets have very good lately. The sun sets a bit after 8.

Here's more info on how to get there if you don't know. http://www.pvscene.com/10146/langostinos/.
Langostino's is just north of where the Los Muertos pier used to be.

Everyone is welcome. Our meetups at Langostino's have been very active and quite crowded lately so show up early for a good seat. The Langostino's staff have been very good to us (tip with kindness).

We're just there to meet people and to party with those who want to party. About the only rule we have is no time share sales.

At this meetup we'll be discussing where to have our alternate meetups.

The people who show up are the ones who care so we'll discuss it first at the meeting and then open it up for discussion or notification on the forum.

Maybe what they say about Friday the 13th is real

Sorry, I didn't make it to the meetup tonight. My computer died and I am in mourning. Actually, I'm pissed. But I don't know who or what to be pissed at. Myself, I guess. Since there are so many things I could have done to sort of prevent this.

I'm using my baby laptop now, the one that has a large white line down the screen about a third of the way across.jaja, I guess it does not really matter since the keyboard is made for kiddies and not for an old cowboy's hands.

Tonight suicide seems like a viable option considering all of the things that have been going wrong lately. Just joking. :D

I have fucked up a few computers, but I did revive them in spite of myself. Carry on.

Hang in there Saint Rick, I have spent a couple of days trying to get rid of a highjack on my Google Chrome :x :x by something called conduit search, without your computer expertise and intelligence. After a couple of days finally took it to a computer geek (his real business handle) I should have done it right away and saved myself the stress and frustration and loss of sleep. I cannot deal with anything else when my "baby" is not well! It took him 4 hours and it was the best 50 bucks I have spent this summer! Good luck with whatever ails yours.

Well, the 14 of us who did brave the elements had a wonderful time and took the vote.

It was unanimous. Stay at Langostinos each week through the summer. Easy to get to, on the beach, great service, good people and good prices.
