Everyone that posted after you is correct. It is a harsh statement that is almost impossible to prove. I was on a business trip one time and got food poisoning. Came down with it at night a day after, and was sure it was a restaurant that I had eaten at the night before. Well talked to a friend a few days later, back at home, and they also had been sick. So turned out it was a piece of Salmon I had cooked the night before leaving on the trip.

I only posted on trip adviser that I got sick from the fact they cook with too much butter. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but if others post they got sick, we'll know.

A doctor told me it was food poisoning, he said it's real easy right now as it's so hot, food sits out too long. I worked for years in the restaurant business too. I've only gotten food poisoning down here, twice my husband and I both got it after eatting the same thing --and both times at the same restaurant! I've gotten guardia quite a few times, all around the world.

How unfortunate that you and your husband are prone to illness. It must be hard to enjoy life when you are so focused on health-related issues.

Food cooked with too much butter upsets my stomach. It's not food poisoning, it's poor choices on my part. Too much butter makes me ill. If I opt to eat it, it has nothing to do with the restaurant. My body, my choices-for better or worse.

During hot weather, food should be kept at the appropriate temp. If I choose to eat seafood at a buffet or picnic, once again-my bad. Sometimes, I feel like taking a chance on oysters on Los Muertos Beach. Usually that's fine, not always. I own my choices, I don't accuse a restaurant of poisoning me.

yes, if I eat food with too much butter I can get loose stools, but not to the point that everything was quickly cleaned out and not with terrible stomach pains, no other pains....it wasn't the flu.

Food poisoning can kill, I feel good knowing I alerted the cook and potential customers, one of the owners left town, a divorce, she's back in Canada.
