Texas to PV by bus ? opinions ?

Tell it like it is, or was.

The downsides to taking the bus here are that it is probably not much cheaper than getting a good deal plane ticket and the trip is a lot longer.

The upsides are that the bus is very comfortable and you really get to see a lot of the country that you normally would not if you flew.

Rick, your right. actually finding out it could actually cost more when you consider meals, ect.
Hopefully it will be a trip that I can post here and let you guys know how it turns out.
as i posted before, im hoping that I can do this to see more or Mexico. I think I will be going to Arizona, from Texas, and traveling to Mexico from there.....And I will let you know.
again, this will be in august but i am really looking forward to it.

A few years ago some friends caught a bus from PV to Nogales. It took about 24 hours. They got off the bus in Nogales, walked across the border, where some friends picked them up. They said it was a long trip, but relaxing.

Growing up in a place I didn't like, I learned at age 15 that buses were a way out. I was involved in a Unitarian church thing, as an officer, when I was a teen and this was my ticket out of my stifling life in central Florida. I traveled this backward southern state in the 1960's about 4 times a year to conferences, and that is when I learned the value of wheels. There is nothing like a bus to give you a broader picture and a feel for the possibilities in this world.
